London, UK. 8 October, 2025. Activists from Culture Unstained protest funding by the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) of the Old Vic theatre, screening a short satirical film outside by playwright Caryl Churchill featuring BAFTA-winning actor Siobhán McSweeney and BAFTA-nominated actor Samuel West. RBC are a major funder of fossil fuel infrastructure and investor in weapons used by the Israeli military. The group accuse RBC of using sponsorship to “clean up” their image. Credit: Ron Fassbender
